Judges Choice for Green Remodeling
The Meta Remodeling Awards is a prestigious award granted to exceptional remodelers in recognition of their achievements
by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) of Silicon Valley. The Meta Awards got their name
from the word "metamorphosis," signifying the transformation process and beautiful results that can be
accomplished through a remodeling project. All projects are reviewed for inclusion of
Sustainable Design and Green Building principles and techniques, and determine if any entry in any of the categories
should receive this award. The entry must show excellence in the judging criteria applicable to the category
in which it is entered, as well as include several of the criteria listed on the Green Building Criteria document.
Daniel Mackey Construction won Judges Choice for Green Remodeling for their newly remodeled show house in the
Evergreen Area of San Jose.
